Avoid! - Flex Pricing is a Trap

This platform doesn’t know how to communicate with their consumers. If you try to resell tickets for a big event, they advertise “flex pricing”. Flex pricing sounds like it’s there as a safety net - something used last minute to make sure your ticket sells. Nope! As soon as you approve, flex pricing allows your ticket to be sold at face value, rather than the price you already paid for it to begin with! Lost $400+ on tickets thanks to this. Go with someone else!

No Ticket No Refund. Didn’t report it quick enough was reason. Rather just bought new tickets at venue and reported it after show. Thanks Stub Hub.

Processing fee’s are insane

This is so outrageous I have to submit. Processing fee for $37 tickets was $42. That’s a laugh & a hard no. So I gave money to Seat Geek. there’s a considerable difference & I’m super pleased. 3 rows closer was actually cheaper. And regular processing fees! It’s hard to compare, cuz I got way better seating, but Geek Seat sold me 2 (processed) tickets for less than 1 from from stub hub. I basically got a free ticket with a discount and better seating

Scam no stars

This sight is full of resellers trying to sell tickets before they even go on pre sale let alone general public sale… wont even give refunds when the tickets aren’t been transferred and officially mine… they also allow a transfer date the date of some concerts…also seems like a scam haven’t had an issue until now if I could go back I would…

I am not able to accept or pull my tickets. I paid for the tickets 3 weeks ago and still no proof of tickets other than proof of purchase. SCAM!!!!!!

The vouchers are a SCAM- Always get your money back

These people are the absolute worst. I had a show that got canceled where they offer this nice 120% to not request your money back. Turns out you can’t actually use the voucher. I have spent hours in the phone with them for them to tell me they are “re-escalating the case” what a joke. 7 weeks later and still no refund.

StubHub doesn’t care about the customer. They “guarantee” tickets, but if you have to use the guarantee, they don’t actually back it up. What a waste of money. If I could rate zero stars I would.

They will sell fake tickets

Last year I went to the Sweat Tour and bought my ticket months ahead and they never sent the tickets. I was charged and obviously called them the night of the concert, and they basically just gave me a “we’re sorry” message paired with a terrible refund/replacement policy. Just use ticketmaster, don’t trust StubHub!!!

Worst scam ever!

Waited until a couple hours before the event to email the parking details. Had to download an app that had no ability to enter the Rental ID I was given. The lot was unattended so I had no one to show my order to. I had to scan the QR code at the lot and pay an additional $21. When I tried to get a refund today, I was told I had to provide a picture of the unattended lot. After 3 chats (the first 2 times out after a couple of minutes), the issue was unresolved. I was unable to paste a Google maps image that clearly shows this parking lot is an unattended field with a fence around it. I will never be using StubHub again!

Hope you never have an issue and have to interact with customer service.

0/5 stars. 5 calls into customer service later and still no resolution. It’s a freaking joke and an absolute waste of time. The event was 8 days ago and I’m still chasing a refund with no end in sight. Stub hub is not worth the headache. Take your business elsewhere. All customer service is non-US basded too, so get ready to repeat your issue 100 times.

Ballet parking

The parking offered was too far and we couldn’t even use it after paying almost $40. We found another parking close by for $10. We find so stupid to offer a far parking lot when you have one really close. Waste of time and money. The ballet performance was great though!

They canceled the ticket one hour before the event

The seller didn't transfer the ticket until the deadline, which is 3 hour before the event, and their representatives keeps guarantee me that a replacement ticket will be issued, until one hour before the event. And the only option they gave me is refund. And ask me to rebook by myself for a ticket that is only 20 dollars more expensive than my original ticket. They charge me fee for more than 20 dollars. There are really should be another class action raised against them.

Terrible service, I tried to sell some tickets for an event I couldn't attend and when I sold the tickets and confirmed delivery, they created another sale and told me that if I didn't sell the other tickets for less than what I paid, they would fine me $300. They didn't want to lose. In addition, I paid $380 for the tickets and they were only going to pay me $210. I don't recommend them. Terrible service, I recommend Ticketmaster!

Suggested improvement

If StubHub is listening, a suggested improvement to the app - when the user clicks on Profile > My Sales, it defaults to “Open” versus “Completed” so that requires an extra step to see your sales (don’t even know what “Open” sales would be). Then the default sort is “Event Date” ascending, so in my case, showing sales from 4+ years ago; with no sort available to show the most recent sales at the top of the list, requiring to page forward to the very end of the listing. Making the default by Event Date descending, and/or adding a sort option for “Sale Date (descending)” would be a huge value add.

March Madness for the all the wrong reasons

I purchased tickets to NCAA March Madness. By the day of the event the seller had still not provided the tickets. I had three chats with agents via the app and three separate phone calls with Stub Hub agents. Each one reassured me that I was covered by the FanProtect Guarantee. The event came and went, no alternative tickets were provided, no promised email with next steps was sent, and as of right now, no refund has been provided. The app is good at collecting money and connecting you to a chat, but when things go wrong, the agents are not empowered to actually fix your problem. Instead the spend hours “looking into the problem” and “escalating to the relevant team”. StubHub, please make this right.

Do NOT use

“Every ticket is guaranteed” is a scam and they will wait to tell you the day of your game that they can’t fulfill the tickets that your purchased. Their “guarantee” is that you can have worse seats or full refund “and not attend the game but at least you get your money back” (direct quote). Bought tickets for my wife’s bday with all our friends and they all used Seat Geek and had no issues! Unfortunately I used StubHub and they screwed us so now we will sit away from all our friends for my wife’s bday. Use SEAT GEEK or Ticketmaster!!!

All automated, keeps telling you not to worry, that your tickets will come in. Even if it’s ten minutes before the game starts. Ended up having to buy other tickets and get a refund on the originals. Missed a good portion of the game. Customer service is non existent!!! Do not recommend!

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! CHECK THE GOOGLE MAPS FOR THE ACTUAL REAL REVIEWS !!!!! If you are attending a big concert or sporting event that requires more than an hour to get to the venue (including the parking) YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY DOOMED !!! There is absolutely no guarantee that you will be provided a ticket you purchased nor even a parking ticket at that!!! It was 40 minutes before the start of the event and those peddlers did not provide adequate tickets for me and my family even though we purchased them way in advance! SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE go to the box office and do it the right way or you will be SCAMMED on this app!!! I literally called 7 times and they were not able to provide me a ticket on the day of the event! Super dishonest and fishy behavior of each and every “customer support agent” … DO NOT USE THIS FRAUDULENT TICKET SERVICE ever! Remember ( I DID NOT HAVE MY TICKETS 40 minutes from the start of the event ! Avoid at all costs

Do not use this app to sell tickets. It is bombarded with scammers who falsely claim they did not receive your transfer. Stubhub will not notify you until after the event - leaving them with no choice but to charge you for failing to send tickets. I am currently trying to resolve a case where I was charged for not transferring tickets (I have already provided proof of transfer) and it has been over two months and Stubhub is still "reviewing" the case. In one instance, I sold a ticket and transferred to the email address provided from the buyers account. I later received a phone call from Stubhub on the day of the event, on which a representative told me I had not transferred the ticket. The representative listed an entirely different destination email address and I had to explain to the Stubhub representative that the buyer was providing a different email address than the one listed on their account at time of sale. Stubhub should have easily been able to determine the email address on the buyers account. DO NOT LIST TICKETS ON THIS SITE.

Charged me $340

They charged me $340 for tickets that didn’t even exist I will admit I accidentally listed my tickets 3 times but how did they not see that on their end? They still ended up charging me for simply not removing that listing.

AWFUL

Avoid StubHub at all costs unless it’s an instant transfer ticket. I purchased tickets for a show and the seller never delivered, and the only options they gave me were massive downgrades. I paid for a front row ticket and literally ended up with a ticket in the last row back corner near the bathroom. I paid for one thing and got the exact opposite. There were other tickets on the website they could have given me, but because prices had gone up the only alternative offered were the worst seats in the nose bleeds when that is not what I paid for. I actually contacted customer service a head of the show because the seat number on my ticket didn’t exist, and they did nothing about it. When I called customer service day of my event their response was “there is nothing we can do those are the options, deal with it or get a refund” Edit after Stub Hub Response: you have THE MOST condescending, dismissive, and rage inducing customer service I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Fix your policies or stop acting like you care. You pretend to have good customer service and you don’t. It’s infuriating to be on the other side. You know how you could “make up for the disappointment” give me a refund.

Terrible

I’m not one to write reviews but the service i received from StubHub was absolutely horrendous. I had reached out a few weeks ago about my tickets not transferring and nothing was done. Then day of my concert I have been in contact with 4 separate agents all who have said they will call or email me with an update and none of that has happened. I ended up having to buy tickets through a different company in order to attend my concert and am now hoping that I get my money back like they promised. I’m so disappointed in the service and do not recommend at all unless you want to stress over your tickets.

Should be able to filter by mileage

I live between 2 major cities, and since you can’t filter by distance, I can basically only view one of the cities events at one time. Also should be easier to view all events in (blank) area. Not sure why the app is so complicated.

This application has the worst service they can offer I bought 6 tickets for $71 dollars each but when it was time to pay they charged me $200 dollars in taxes and in the end on the same day of the event when I called for my tickets they said they didn’t have them 30 minutes before the concert This is ridiculous, they shouldn’t do this.

First disappointing experience with StubHub

I had purchased tickets from StubHub in the past without any issues. However, this last time I bought tickets over a month in advance for my family for the Atlético de Madrid vs. Barcelona game as a birthday gift for my 18-year-old. We flew to Madrid in time for the game. When the starting time approached, I realized I hadn't received the tickets in the app or via email. Fifteen minutes before kickoff, I frantically reached out to customer service, and although the representative was helpful, the damage was done. We were left standing outside the stadium, stressed and disappointed, waiting for tickets that never arrived. The fact that I had to initiate contact to resolve the issue is unacceptable as no previous alert or notification was given. While I appreciate the refund, it doesn't make up for the heartbreak and frustration my children experienced. As a customer, I expect a certain level of service and reliability, especially when it comes to time-sensitive events like sports games. StubHub failed to deliver on its promise, and I would caution others to think twice before using their services for international events. I’m giving it two stars because I did receive a full refund.

Scam - no guarantee

I purchased a parking ticket for Glendale stadium she believes cup and when I showed up, the ticket had been used by someone else already. After much explaining to the parking staff and holding up traffic, they acknowledged multiple issues with stub hub. I reached to support and I keep getting the run around, told they will get back to me in 5 days but it’s been 3 weeks now. I was planning a different family event for concert and one of our family members used to work for city events and said she never purchases from stub hub because they don’t have safe guards in place to prevent a ticket being resold multiple times. This is a scam. Buyer beware especially for important and special events. Customer service does NOT want to do any work and will ask you to continually explain yourself over and over and over again to tire you out so you don’t get a resolution. Their AI chat is also ridiculous. They are filing for IPO so they need every scammed dollar to make their profitability look impressive. Review and share you experience, post it on all platforms

Received incorrect tickets

I received tickets for a different state and date then what I purchased. After numerous calls over a month and a half and told I would have a refund or exchange promptly, it was revealed they won’t refund or exchange the tickets till the month of the event, possibly the day of. It is a sold out event and waiting that long will cause the tickets to be triple the original price. Plus the possibility of receiving the wrong tickets again. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this service.

Spent over 3 hours on phone and 3 weeks trying to get refunded for a parking pass that the seller was scamming people on and switching location once sending tickets. Have claim and nothing back yet. Been 3 weeks since filing and multiple associates.

The site offers 100% buyer guarantee. But also says tickets won’t transfer until the day of the event. I bought tickets weeks ago and still haven’t received it. Now I’m watching prices go up and no tickets for me. So you just have to hope this company holds up their end. It’s very shady and feels illegal to take someone’s money and tell them they might get tickets?

Customer service is rude, they don’t care about ticket scalpers on their app charging outrageous costs for tickets, and refuse to partake in any after the fact transactions as they are only third party. Greedy.
